Supermodel and mum, Miranda Kerr spoke recently to fashion magazine VOGUE, spilling the beans on her most precious secrete... how she is able to maintain her stunning figure, and more importantly why she thinks that being happy and healthy is more important to her than celebrity status and wealth. For Miranda 'Health is Wealth', she says.
Keeping her famous body toned is not as easy as it once was, since the birth of her beautiful little boy Flynn, last January (she's blissfuly married to star or Pirates of the Caribbean, British actor Orlando Bloom).
"Working 16, 17 hours, you need to know how to take care of yourself or you'll fall off the wagon. I know it's cliched, but I feel health is wealth.''
Miranda has turned onto a regime of daily exercise including Pilates and yoga to keep her baby weight off.
''I was lucky for a while there, I just did yoga. Now I'm exercising a whole lot more, but it's for my job.''
Sharing her secret of how she is able to keep in such fantastic shape, so she's able to stay as a world famous supermodel and celebrity mum at the same time, Miranda says it's her passion for organic super foods such as chia seeds, maca powder, and goji berries. Joking to VOUGE about how long it takes her to prepare her super food smoothies, Miranda said 'it's a lot of work!'
''It's unrealistic to think that someone has the perfect life, because nobody does. I am very lucky and I recognise that, but I can't feel bad about what I have, because I worked very hard for it.
''I especially worked hard pushing out that baby, I'm no rocket scientist - that would be something to be really proud of, but I'm doing my bit the best way possible.''
Miranda joins many of the top Hollywood celebrity A list who have found the benefits of super foods for keeping slim, younger-looking and full of energy, including Madonna, Liz Hurley, and Gwyneth Paltrow and often talked about by Oprah's celebrity TV doctor, Dr Oz
