Christmas Cards, Eggnog, Santa Claus: Can You Really Ask For More?

By Alaric Sowerby

Every year all of us anticipate Christmas, specifically the little kids who are absorbed by the hustle and bustle of Christmas festivity and mesmerized by the charm associated with this occasion of the year.

Can you think of the time approaching Christmas Eve when you prepare a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Santa Claus? Those were the days, weren't they?

Presents are among the best parts of Christmas. People save up so that they can give their friends and family something extraordinary. Even children save a few of their money to buy gifts. However, for those aged twelve and below, the finest present comes from the person who drops down the chimney at Christmas Eve. And we have a lot of extraordinary accounts regarding our presents from Santa Claus, don't we?

If you can't set aside enough money to buy a present, there's always the alternative of giving your family personalised Christmas cards. Personally, I suppose giving cards you created yourself are much more valued than costly gifts packed in sparkling Christmas wrappers. Anyone can appreciate the time and effort you put into creating a Christmas card and people are aware that what you have created truly emanates from the heart. This is possibly among the reasons why your mailbox comes close to teeming with Christmas vouchers, business Christmas cards, and other stuff that large companies send out to faithful customers.

Anyways, gifts and Christmas cards are just some of the things that render Christmas such a beloved season by many. Nearly everyone of us have lots of fond experiences of Christmas revelries are already gone that we all look forward to go through all over again this year, and the subsequent years to come, with the same anticipation we had when we were just kids, if not more.

Christmas is the time of the year when everyone is at home and there's no school, no work, and no business travels. It is a time when everybody has time to spend with their relatives and build more memories. A family meeting by the fire place after Christmas dinner, sipping mugs of warm and delicious eggnog, recalling pleasant and not-so-pleasant times, and simply enjoying each other's companionship - this renders Christmas very extraordinary without a doubt.

It surely is a celebration that every person anticipates all year round. You can ask any one and he or she can share with you a time or two, most likely more, that make Christmas his or her most loved feast of the year. And I believe, you will approve of it.

Live for the day, plan for tomorrow, learn from yesterday but get ready for Christmas as time passes very quickly so, plan ahead of time.
